Retirement Home Front Desk - 2nd & 3rd Shifts


TA Staffing, in partnership with a Senior Lifestyle Community located in Mt Juliet is recruiting Front Desk Team Members (all shifts), with an immediate need for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsible for daily operations of the front desk/lobby area, ensuring the security of the community, and for all communications within and outside the community. 


  • Answer phones for both external and internal calls within the community
  • Assist Office Manager with ensuring 24/7 Front Desk coverage
  • Greet visitors; ensure visitor sign-in, appropriate visitor badge and other assistance, as necessary. Notify resident of visitor
  • Monitor vendor/caregiver check-in, obtain appropriate liability insurance coverage and assign name badges
  • Respond to resident emergency call lights, in timely fashion
  • Respond to emergency situations/needs throughout Community as necessary
  • Assist with the coordination and communication with Resident Support Service Partners (Senior Helpers, Blue Sky, Brookdale, Hospice)
  • Assist in current and new-hire employees through written documentation, hands-on training and on-going organization/communication of concierge services
  • Clean office and lobby areas, as needed and scheduled, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, trash removal and kitchen/dining room tasks
  • Communicate specific instructions to weekend staff regarding any planned/scheduled activity for their shifts such as move-ins, staycations, visitors, vendors, special activities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • Related field and professional appearance required.
  • Must have good working knowledge of computer.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, family and staff.
  • High level of customer service skills and dedication.
  • High school or GED equivalent with some specialized training in administrative services.
  • MS Office applications, i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to work with others in a cooperative manner
