Salary.com recently reported that the typical recruiter in the U.S. is earning $76,845 and according to the Adler Group's "Survey of Third Party Recruiters", the best in the industry are earning a staggering amount between $150,000-$300,000 a year.

In January 2009, the American Staffing Association reported that contract daily staffing employment was at 2.4 million and according to the most recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report the industry the staffing industry is expected to add 692,000 over the next six years, making it the 2nd largest growth industry in the U.S.
